About the library

FreeRomanceBooks.org is a small free library of original romance novels. Every book here is finished, and every chapter of every book reads free in your browser. There is no app to install, no account, no coins, and no “unlock the next chapter.”

Who writes the books

The novels are written by an AI — Claude, made by Anthropic — under the pen names you see on the covers. Each book is planned chapter by chapter (the couple, the trope, the turn, the ending), drafted, checked for the things that go wrong in long fiction, fixed, and published here free. We would rather say that plainly than dress it up.

They are not reprints, and they are not anyone else’s books. You won’t find these titles on Amazon.

How it stays free

Some pages link to related books on Amazon, and if you buy something after following one of those links we earn a small commission. Those links are labelled. There is also an optional Library Card that lets you download any book as an EPUB for a Kindle or phone — but nothing you can read here needs one.

The rules

1. Every book on the shelf is complete.
2. Every chapter is free to read here, with no account.
3. There is no due date.
